The Workshop is arranged for the presentation and discussion on the science of future X-ray Free-Electron Laser Oscillators (XFELOs) across six general topics: IXS, non-linear optics, XPCS/CDI, Mössbauer Spectroscopy, X-ray combs, and X-ray optics.
Each working group is assigned 2-3 session co-chairs. One co-chair will have 20 minutes for introduction. While specific discussion leaders are listed below, it is left to the discretion of each group which should perform introductions.
Introductions will then be followed by 2:10 hours of discussion. This may start with a 20 minute review or up to 20 minutes of short talks (no more than 2 slides each).
The alternate discussion leader will then present a 20 minute topical summary on Friday afternoon. Summary preparation time is provided on Friday morning as well as individual break out rooms for each group.
